    A special festival dedicated to showcasing tomorrow's world class musicians today.

    Young Virtuosi is dedicated to developing and inspiring young musicians needing special encouragement and support through the challenging transition to professional artist.

    Through a series of concerts, recitals and master classes, the Young Virtuosi Festival is not just a breathtaking and dynamic event in the musical calendar, but a real stepping stone for its artists in their quest to achieve their aspirations and full potential.
     

    Florian Leonhard, Young Virtuosi Trustee, is one of the leading world experts in rare and fine stringed instruments, with a globally recognised connoisseurship of violin restoration skills. He also a great supporter of young talent and takes an active interest in the careers of the most promising and talented young musicians.

    London-based entrepreneur and avid music supporter Christiane Wuillamie is the Executive Director of Young Virtuosi, organising the various programmes and fund raising events.

    String Quartet Audition 2012

    Young Virtuosi is looking for an established string quartet of young musicians aged from 19-25 from London Conservatoires to offer them an exciting opportunity to be involved in this year’s Festival concerts.

    The string quartet will be able to offer a variety of repertoire and be prepared to take on some new collaborative ideas.

    Please send us your CVs and a list of offered repertoire. You will then be invited for an audition on 5th March 2012 in Central London where you will play a movement from one of the string quartets of your choice.

    Biographies and list of repertoire should be sent to auditions@youngvirtuosi.com by 29th February 2012.

    A small renumeration, flights tickets, accommodation and subsistence are offered.

    The festival runs from 14th to 21st July 2012 with travel on 12th July 2012.
